What is Blepharoplasty?

1. Anaesthesia will be administered.
2. The incision will be made at the upper or lower eyelids. Excess skin or fat deposit will be removed.
3. Eyelid incisions will be closed with sutures or skin glue (sutures will be removed 1 week after).

Before Surgery Checklist
· Please remove manicure from your forefingers
· Please do not drink alcohol a day prior
· Take a taxi after surgery (due to anaesthesia administered)
· Operations will be canceled if you have any kind of flu
· Side effects like bruises and menses will be longer if you are on your menses
· Please strictly avoid taking Aspirin, Vita E, Chinese Medicine 2 weeks prior
· Fast 5 hours before the surgery

A1: The result of this treatment is often long lasting and expected to maintain for about 5 to 7 years.
Q2: Are there any possible complications and side effects?
A2: As with most medical procedures, there are certain risks and side effects associated. For this treatment, possible post operative risks include scarring, infection, pain and loss of sensitivity.
Q3: I am Asian with monolids. What treatment would you suggest for me?
A3: A double eyelid surgery. Eye-bag removal is possible too.
